Drivers who use the northbound state Route 167 Puyallup River Bridge (Meridian) are encouraged to plan ahead for delays later this week.
From 7 p.m. Thursday (June 25) to 5:30 a.m. Friday (June 26), drivers will encounter alternating right- and left-lane closures on the northbound SR 167 Puyallup River Bridge. Over the weekend, motorists can expect a full closure of the northbound bridge.
To connect the roadway to the new bridge, crews will close all northbound SR 167 lanes across the river from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (June 29). During the closure, northbound drivers will follow a signed detour via state Routes 512 and 167.
All southbound lanes will remain open.
