Update: Puyallup police say 35-year-old woman missing since Sunday has been found safe

Update: Puyallup police posted on social media shortly before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday that McBeath has been found.

“Jessica McBeath has been located and is safe,” the post said. “We appreciate all the support from the community and our followers on social media who were eager to help.”

Initial post: Puyallup police are asking the public to help find a 35-year-old woman who went missing Sunday.

Jessica McBeath missed a church class she was supposed to teach Sunday morning and didn’t show up to work Monday, according to the Police Department’s social media posts just before 10:30 a.m. Monday.

“This is out of character for Jessica according to family members who have been unable to reach her,” the posts said.

Police also shared information about her disappearance through the city’s emergency alert system, which reached residents Monday afternoon by text message, email and a robocall recording of Puyallup Police Chief Scott Engle asking for the public’s help.

McBeath is 5 foot 3, about 150 pounds, and drives a blue Nissan Rogue SUV. The Washington license plate on the vehicle is CKP3872.

“She was last seen wearing a gray, black and white plaid jacket, a black shirt, jeans or leggings, and earrings with a wooden design,” the police department’s social media posts said.
