Joining the trend of food truck festivals, the Puyallup Parks and Recreation Department is busy planning a festival featuring food trucks and live music in Bradley Lake Park.
Food Truck Frenzy, scheduled for June 25, will feature nearly 15 different vendors and a handful of local bands, attracting foodies of all ages.
“It’s a chance to hang out in the park with great food,” said Tyler Eidson, recreation coordinator. “Come for lunch, listen to some live music and stay for dinner.”
With more than a dozen food vendors in one location, it gives festivalgoers an opportunity to try a wide array of food in a small area.
“A lot of people are really excited,” Eidson said. “There’s multiple options to pick from, which you typically wouldn’t get otherwise.”
Vendors for Food Truck Frenzy range from local food trucks Budha Bear Bagels & Cafe, Urban Timber Coffee Co, Pull My Ear Concessions, P & J’s Waffle Delight to Tacoma food trucks Lumpia World and The Frying Dutchman.
Event organizers are expecting a large crowd, so Eidson is asking guests to be patient and think outside the box when it comes to finding parking for the event.
Food Truck Frenzy runs from noon to 6 p.m. June 25 at Bradley Lake Park, 531 31st Ave SE in Puyallup.
