Puyallup police arrested a burglary suspect Sunday afternoon in the attic of the downtown business they say he ransacked, spokesman Scott Engle said.
The 42-year-old man was arrested about 2:30 p.m. in the 300 block of East Pioneer with the assistance of K-9 Officer Marshall, Engle said.
“He found him on the second floor, tucked way back in the attic,” he said.
A maintenance worker for the business came in for work Sunday afternoon and suspected the building had been broken into and called police, Engle said.
The business suffered extensive damage from the burglary, Engle said.
Engle said the man has burglary convictions and multiple warrants.
“It looks like he’s done this before,” Engle said.
