He accused his co-worker of stealing, then whipped out clipping shears.
Pierce County sheriff’s detectives said the 39-year-old stabbed his fellow employee multiple times in the break room of a marijuana warehouse on May 2.
The victim was able to escape and drive himself to the hospital. He suffered four stab wounds to the chest, two to his arm and one to the neck.
Surveillance video shows the employee gather his belongings after the attack and leave. Investigators have been unable to track him down.
On Thursday, prosecutors charged the employee with second-degree assault.
