Lacey Police responded to a call of a foot found in a dumpster and instead found a man who was wanted for a probation violation.
A person searching through the trash called police saying they saw a human foot in the dumpster at 610 Sleater Kinney Road S.E., said Sgt. Jaime Newcomb. When the authorities dug through the trash, they found a man who had taken shelter in the dumpster, Newcomb said.
The man was alive and wanted on a Department of Corrections warrant for a parole violation.
