Sex offender registrations in Pierce County

The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.

Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at piercesheriff.org.

Jeffrey L. Wilson

Age: 63.

Description: 5 feet 9 and 170 pounds, brown hair with brown eyes.

Where registered to live: 5900 block of Alaska Court, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1994 of communication with a minor for immoral purposes in Pierce County for sexually assaulting two young girls. Convicted in 1985 of criminal tress for breaking into a home, assaulting two victims and stealing their underwear. Convicted in 1981 of criminal tress for stealing a young girl’s underwear. Convicted in both 1980 and 1976 of indecent liberties for sexually assaulting two girls in separate incidents. Convicted in 1975 of disorderly conduct — annoying an adult female and in 1974 of breach of peace for restraining a woman in his car.

Sex offender treatment: He participated in a treatment program while at the Special Commitment Center.

Anthony L. Cole

Age: 49.

Description: 5 feet 10 and 175 pounds, black hair with brown eyes.

Where registered to live: 2100 block of 62nd Avenue East, Fife.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1991 of second-degree rape in King County. Also convicted twice of failing to register as a sex offender in King County in 2002 and 2008.

Sex offender treatment: It is unclear if he participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Mitchell Gaff

Age: 64.

Description: 5 feet 8 and 200 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes.

Where registered to live: 700 block of South 17th Street, Tacoma.

Criminal history: Convicted in 1980 of second-degree assault and second-degree burglary in Snohomish County for binding and sexually assaulting a woman working in her yard. Convicted in 1984 of first-degree rape and first-degree burglary in Snohomish County for sexually assaulting teenage twin sisters at knifepoint.

Sex offender treatment: He participated in a treatment program while at the Special Commitment Center.
