A rock crashed through the window of a Tacoma bikini bar moments after a drunken patron was escorted out.
Security guards immediately suspected it was the 26-year-old who had been cut off at the bar because he had “caused problems in the past for them,” according to court documents.
It was just before 1 a.m. Sunday, and the man could be seen crossing the 13100 block of Pacific Avenue South.
Employees called 911.
Pierce County sheriff’s deputies responded and found the man nearby. He allegedly claimed he was heading to work at a nearby market and denied being in the bikini bar.
The broken window cost about $4,000. A car was also dented by the rock, records show.
On Monday, the man pleaded not guilty to second-degree malicious mischief and was released on his own recognizance.
