KIRO-TV

Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man Sunday night.

The victim, who has not been identified, was found sitting in his car in the 33400 block of 23rd Avenue SW.

Officers were called to the scene about 5:30 p.m. Sunday and found the victim.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died.

Police said the victim appeared to be driving when he was shot because his vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant.

No one has been arrested.

“All of a sudden we hear six shots,” witness Jason Delao told KIRO-TV. “We didn’t go out until the police came out because I just told my family to duck under, and we just turned off the lights and closed the door.”
