The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.
Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender — those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.

Jody Tobin
Age: 50.
Description: 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Where registered to live: 5800 block of Pacific Avenue, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2019 of indecent exposure with sexual motivation in Lewis County for exposing himself in front of two women.
Sex offender treatment: He did not participate in a treatment program while incarcerated.

Rick Monroe
Age: 52.
Description: 5-foot-5 and 230 pounds, gray hair with hazel eyes.
Where registered to live: 8200 block of 20th Avenue East, Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2000 of first-degree child rape in Kitsap County for sexually assaulting two girls aged 7 and 8. Convicted in 1985 of indecent liberties in King County for sexually assaulting two girls aged 5 and 7 while swimming.
Sex offender treatment: He participated in a treatment program while incarcerated.
