Tacoma man arrested for allegedly raping teenage girls

A 42-year-old Tacoma man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of raping two of his teenage daughter’s friends while they were visiting his home.

Detectives from the Washington State Patrol’s Missing and Exploited Task Force served a search warrant at the man’s house on South 27th Street and seized digital media devices.

They booked the man into the Pierce County Jail on charges of third-degree child rape and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.

The teens, ages 14 and 15, were visiting the man’s daughter from out of state. They told their families what happened once they returned home, according to the State Patrol.
