San Juan deputies looking for missing Oregon woman

San Juan County sheriff’s deputies were on the lookout Thursday for a missing Oregon woman with South Sound ties.

Jennifer Huston, 38 of Dundee, Oregon, has been missing since Thursday (July 24).

Capt. Tim Svenson from the Yamhil County Sheriff’s Office said the San Juan Islands were one of the missing woman’s favorite places growing up, KIRO-TV reported. Her information has been sent to deputies in the area.

Huston grew up in Gig Harbor and Tacoma, and graduated from Gig Harbor High School. She and her husband, Kallen Huston, had lived in DuPont and Lakewood before they moved to Oregon about eight years ago.

Huston was last seen getting gas and withdrawing money from a bank in Newberg, Oregon.

Her husband passed a lie detector test and has cooperated with police, The Oregonian reported.

Police have reviewed the family’s financial information, but Kallen Huston does not legally have access his wife’s medical or cellphone records, the newspaper reported, and police cannot subpoena the records without evidence that a crime has been committed.

Oregon crews are focusing their search in northwest Yamhill County, KIRO reported.

Huston was driving a dark green 1999 Lexus LX 470, Oregon license plates WXH 011. She’s described as 5 feet 7, with blond, shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing black and pink Nike shoes and black yoga pants.

Anyone who thinks they see Hutson or her car is asked to call 911, according to a Facebook page run by family and friends, dedicated to finding her. Anyone with other information that might be relevant to the search is asked to call 503-554-8954.
