Police seek burglar who took gun, watch and WSU blanket

Police are looking for a burglar who took a handgun, a watch and a Washington State University blanket from a University Place home.

Surveillance footage shows the burglar kicking in the door of the home on 62nd Avenue West about 2:45 p.m. Sept. 8, entering the house and then reemerging with the stolen items, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers.

Investigators describe the burglar as being in his 20s, with a medium build and dark brown hair. He had a thin mustache and goatee, and was wearing black gloves, brown shoes, dark blue shorts and a maroon and white plaid short-sleeved shirt.
