Auburn police arrest adult caregiver after client complains of sexual assault

Auburn police on Thursday arrested a man suspected of sexually abusing the resident of an adult-family home where he works as a caregiver.

Police said they were alerted by a relative of one of the elderly residents of the home in the 2700 block of Forest Ridge Drive Southeast.

The 11 residents of the home were taken to area hospitals until arrangements could be made to find more permanent homes for them, police said.

The name and age of the caregiver were not released.
