Missing Tacoma girl, 13, found safe in Seattle

UPDATE as of 3 p.m. Ella’s family said she was found safe in Seattle.

INITIAL POST: A 13-year-old Tacoma girl has been missing since Nov. 20.

Police said they believe the girl ran away. Her mother insists she was “lured into a potentially dangerous situation.”

In any case, Ella Grace Blalock disappeared from her home. She is possibly in the company of a 14-year-old boy who also attends Mason Middle School.

Ella is in seventh grade and a straight A student, said her mom, Angela Hughes.

On the day she was last seen, Ella visited with the boy and another friend at her house after school. She then sang songs with her family before going upstairs to do homework, her family said.

When they called for Ella minutes later, they discovered she was gone.

Ella is 5 feet 5 and 130 pounds with auburn red hair and blue-green eyes.

Anyone who has information on Ella’s whereabouts is asked to call her family at 253-753-8979.
