Tacoma police were searching Tuesday for a masked, armed man who robbed an Umpqua Bank branch Monday.
The robber walked into the bank at 1200 S. Pearl St. about 1:35 p.m. and demanded money from the teller. The teller complied and the man ran away.
He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, face mask and gloves.
Officers used tracking dogs to search the area but could not find the robber.
