Cause still undetermined in Puyallup mobile home fire

Fire investigators were still trying Thursday to determine what started a mobile home fire Wednesday in Puyallup.

West Pierce Fire & Rescue crews responded about 11:40 a.m. to the fire in the 6900 block of 52nd Street East. Firefighters found the mobile home engulfed in flames and threatening the garage of a neighboring home.

The fire did not spread to other structures and was extinguished in less than 15 minutes, Capt. Jenny Weekes said.

No one was hurt in the blaze.
