A woman accusing of smashing windows and leaving a trail of blood along a Tacoma street New Year’s Day was in court Thursday.

Robin Ann Lee, 44, pleaded not guilty to second-degree malicious mischief. Court records did not list an attorney for her.

Charging papers give this account:

Lee broke windows in houses and vehicles about 4 a.m. near South M Street and South 54th Street, leaving blood on some of the shattered glass.

Officers found her nearby, and she started hitting a patrol car with a rock the size of a softball, splattering blood along the car from cuts on her arms.

The shattered windows amounted to several thousand dollars in damage.

Court Commissioner Meagan Foley set her bail at $750.
