Investigators are trying to identify two people who rammed a stolen car through the doors of a Graham-area grocery store, and unsuccessfully tried to tow away a cash machine.
The burglars slammed the car into Kapowsin Grocery, 29822 Orting Kapowsin Highway E, about 4:40 a.m. Dec. 23. Then they attached a tow rope to the cash machine and tried to drive off, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers.
They left without the machine or any money.

The thieves used a tan, 1993 Honda Accord, which the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said was stolen from a Graham residence, and dumped in Graham after the burglary attempt.
