A two-car crash near Lake Tapps sent four people to the hospital Monday.
The wreck happened about 6:15 p.m. in the 6400 block of 218th Avenue East, Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.
Crews took one person to Puyallup’s MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in critical condition and two in stable condition, and one went to MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in serious condition, according to the East Pierce firefighters union, IAFF Local 3520.
Investigators were working to determine what caused the wreck.

Crews blocked the road as they responded.
