Pierce County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 36-year-old man who allegedly video-recorded a 16-year-old boy as he used the restroom at the South Hill library branch on Monday.
The boy told authorities he was using the bathroom about 4 p.m. when he noticed someone sticking a smart phone under the stall, sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said Tuesday.
The man fled to a car in the parking lot, and witnesses were able to relay the license plate number to deputies, Troyer said. They drove to the home of the registered owner, arrested him and seized his phone as evidence, Troyer said.
The man, Kristopher Knab, allegedly admitted taking video of the boy and said he’d recorded other people while they used the library bathroom, court records show.
