Police search YMCA after bomb threat

Puyallup police briefly evacuated the Mel Korum Family YMCA after a bomb threat Sunday evening.

A young man called in the threat to 911 shortly before 5 p.m., police said.

Officers and staff searched the building at 302 43rd Ave. SE, determined it was clear and reopened it about 6 p.m.
