The same man robbed a Tacoma deli and a Spanaway gas station last month, police said.
Detectives are asking the public to help find the man, who just before 10 p.m. Feb. 11 held up the TC Deli Mart in the 6700 block of South 12th Street, and about half an hour later robbed the Shell station in the 15900 block of Pacific Avenue South, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers.
He allegedly asked for cigars, and when the clerk turned around, showed a handgun and demanded money.
The robber is described as black, between 25 and 35, about 6 feet, roughly 180 pounds, with a mustache and goatee. He wore a black hooded jacket, tan boots, and a camouflage hat and pants.
