Detectives seek Parkland, Spanaway gas station robber

A man robbed several Spanaway and Parkland area gas stations recently, Pierce County sheriff’s detectives said.

He showed a small silver handgun, demanded cash, and threatened the clerks, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers.

This happened at:

-9:05 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Shell at 13221 Pacific Ave. S. in Parkland

-12 a.m. Feb. 26 at the Union 76 at 11202 Steele St. S. near Parkland

-12:55 a.m. Feb. 28 at the Chevron at 17519 Pacific Ave. S. in Spanaway

-11:45 p.m. March 5 at the Shell at 13221 Pacific Ave. S. in Parkland

The robber is described as black, in his 30s, roughly 6 foot tall, and about 185 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, dark pants, black gloves, a black hat, and a black ski mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips are anonymous and can lead to a reward.
