Police look for people recently robbed in West End of Tacoma

Tacoma police are looking for victims of recent West End robberies who might not have reported being held up.

Pierce County prosecutors charged three people in a series of holdups between November and March near Tacoma Community College and the Spanish Hills apartment complex, in the area of South 12th and Mildred streets.

Investigators think the trio was responsible for additional robberies that weren’t reported, and ask any victims or people with information to call 253-591-5968, police said Thursday.

In the robberies police know of, victims were pushed from behind or hit in the head or back, knocking them down before men took their purses or wallets, police said.
