Drivers won’t be able to use the state Route 410 bridge between Enumclaw and Buckley until Saturday.
The state Department of Transportation closed the bridge April 4, after a routine inspection revealed damage, which engineers believe was caused by a too-tall load hitting the span.
They initially said repairs would be done in time for the Friday morning commute, but Wednesday said the work would take until Saturday afternoon.
Anyone who might have seen a load hit the bridge is asked to call the Washington State Patrol at 425-401-7788.
