A Tacoma man wounded Friday in a drive-by shooting died Wednesday.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as 19-year-old Brandon Morris.
Police arrested 23-year-old Alexander Jabbaar Kitt on Tuesday on suspicion of the shooting, which happened in an alley at South 45th and Union Avenue.
A judge on Wednesday ordered Kitt held for 72 hours, as prosecutors make a charging decision.
A woman who identified herself as Morris’ mother said in an email to The News Tribune that her son had just come out of a nearby store where he had bought candy with his friends before the shooting.
