A 25-year-old man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a Tacoma man last month during an argument in Federal Way.
Michael Anthony Espinosa is charged with second-degree murder and second-degree unlawful gun possession in the death of 56-year-old Martin Douglas.
Espinosa allegedly shot Douglas on May 23 as Douglas argued with a mutual acquaintance who had used Douglas’ car to drive her friends around, according to charging papers.
Espinosa is a gang member and methamphetamine addict who had been released from prison eight weeks before the shooting, court records state.

He previously was convicted of second-degree trafficking stolen property, which means he is not allowed to have firearms.
He is scheduled to be arraigned June 29.
