Tacoma police arrested two people Tuesday in a homicide that occurred earlier this year in the 2100 block of South C Street.

The Tacoma Police Department responded at about 11 a.m. on Aug. 25 to an unresponsive man and began life-saving measures, The News Tribune reported. He was pronounced dead by the Tacoma Fire Department.

Detectives and crime scene technicians began a homicide investigation and developed probable cause for the arrest of two people, according to a Tacoma Police news release.

The suspects were booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery, the release said. One of the suspects is also suspected of unlawful possession of a firearm, according to the release.
