Robbery suspect hid behind bush, threatened woman with gun outside ATM in Pierce County

Pierce County sheriff’s detectives are looking for a person who threatened a woman with a gun outside an ATM in Parkland on Sept. 26.

The person was hiding in the bushes and waiting for the woman to finish withdrawing cash from the Bank of America ATM in the 11000 block of Pacific Avenue South. The person robbed the woman at 4:35 a.m. after threatening her with a gun. They reportedly ran off, according to a Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County bulletin.

The suspect was pictured wearing a ski mask. There is a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and charges being filed, the bulletin said.
