Tacoma man who was fatally shot has been IDed. A 15-year-old has been charged in the case

An 18-year-old Tacoma man who was killed on Feb. 14, 2025 died from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the medical examiner’s office.

A Tacoma man who was killed in a shooting last week has been identified, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Kadony Robbins, 18, died from a gunshot wound to the chest on Feb. 14 near the 1300 block of South G Street. His manner of death was ruled as a homicide, the office wrote in a news release.

Officers were dispatched just before 1 a.m. for reports of gunfire. Police found Robbins with a gunshot wound at the scene, according to the Tacoma Police Department in a news release.

Tacoma Fire personnel took Robbins to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, the release said.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, according to charging documents.

The News Tribune does not name juvenile suspects who have not been charged as adults.
