A motorcyclist is dead after a fatal hit-and-run crash Friday night on state Route 167 at 66th Avenue East.
The crash happened around 11:45 p.m. The motorcyclist was traveling south on SR167 when a northbound pickup truck “failed to obey the signal light and made an improper left turn onto westbound 66th Avenue East,” the Washington State Patrol said in its incident report.
The pickup truck struck the cyclist, which then caused the motorcycle to collide with an SUV that was traveling south on SR167.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was killed. The State Patrol identified him as 55-year-old Rodney Farr of Edgewood.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured.
The driver of the pickup fled the scene in his vehicle, the State Patrol reported.
The truck is described as a white Ford pickup.
