The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department has released video of an unidentified woman deputies say robbed a bank in University Place.

It also has offered $1,000 for information leading to her arrest.

The woman entered America’s Credit Union, 4323 Bridgeport Way W, about 1:45 p.m. July 15 and asked for a piece of paper, the department said in a Facebook post.

On the paper, she wrote a note demanding a teller put $2,000 into an envelope, the post said. The teller gave the woman an envelope with the cash and the woman left.

The woman is between 25 and 35, about 5 feet 4 and 140 pounds. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with dark blue sleeves.
