Puyallup police were searching Monday for a man who robbed a local credit union.
The robbery occurred about 9:10 a.m. at the Red Canoe Credit Union on 39th Avenue Southwest near the South Hill Mall, police Capt. Scott Engle said.
No one was hurt in the hold-up.
The man ran toward the mall after the robbery, police said.

The bandit implied he had a weapon and made off with some cash, Engle said.
Police encouraged anyone who knows who the man is to call 253-770-3343 or 911.
