Federal Way police are seeking a driver who they suspect was involved in a road-rage incident that occurred shortly before a fatal crash Friday.
Police say a man in his 60s crashed into a tree near 312th Street and Pacific Highway South just before 9 a.m. Friday. No other vehicles were involved, and the man died despite efforts to revive him, according to police.
Authorities say the man might have suffered a serious medical incident that caused him to lose consciousness and veer off the roadway.
Investigators now are seeking information on a vehicle that might have been part of a road-rage episode just prior to the crash. Witnesses reported seeing an older, black Chevy pickup truck — possibly with a silver-colored tool box in the rear bed — just before the fatal wreck.
