The University Place School Board is seeking candidates to fill the unexpired term of Christine Kilduff. She was elected in November to represent the 28th Legislative District.
To be eligible for a school board seat, a candidate must be a citizen of the United States, and a registered voter residing in University Place School District. The appointed board member would have to run for election in November 2015 in order to keep the seat.
Applications will be accepted through 4 p.m. on Jan. 12. Application packets are available at the University Place School District Educational Service Center, 3717 Grandview Dr. W., University Place, WA.
