Veteran rockers, seventh-graders play the Swiss Sunday

Most young rock bands last a year or two, though Fists of Fire - a trio of rockers who started a band in third grade - is well into it's fourth year together.

Graduates of Rafe Wadleigh's Rock Camp at Charles Wright Academy, Annika Huffines, James Parrott and Josie Trueblood are making a name for themselves locally.

This Sunday, you can catch them at the Swiss, where three young bands will be playing from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Swiss, at 1904 Jefferson Avenue, hosts a Puget Sound Music for Youth Association Showcase on the third Sunday of the month.

Stop by, listen to some music, by the kids a sarsaparilla. Or something.
