Annual UPS Flea Market on Saturday Offers More Than Fleas

It's not often that a flea market is considered a tradition, but on Saturday the Women's League of the University of Puget Sound will hold one for the 46th consecutive year.

Yeah, it's the grandmother of flea markets - and it's held indoors, so you and the more than 60 booths will stay dry and warm.

Held in the UPS Memorial Fieldhouse from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., those booths will offer everything from antiques to sporting goods, books to artwork, food to vintage jewelry.

Admission is $5, and all proceeds go to UPS student scholarships. A year ago, the event raised $22,000. The Women's League was founded in 1900, and its flea market has been a Northwest staple since 1968.

Parking is free, and the Fieldhouse is near Union Avenue and 11th Street.
