All lanes of southbound Interstate 5 were open shortly after 9 a.m. after an overturned box truck near the Tacoma Dome delayed traffic for hours, the Washington State Patrol announced via Twitter.

There were no injuries, according to a tweet by state patrol spokeswoman Brooke Bova.

Traffic was reduced to one lane after the accident as a tow truck with a crane arrived on the scene to upright the truck. State Department of Transportation used Twitter to repeatedly ask motorists to use alternative routes or delay their trips.
