A rollover crash has blocked traffic on eastbound state Route 16 in Tacoma on Monday.

The crash near Sprague Avenue blocked all lanes. Traffic was getting by on the shoulder, the Washington State Department of Transportation reported at 1:50 p.m.

The right lane remained blocked at 2:15 p.m., the department reported. All other lanes were reopened.

Drivers should expect delays until the scene is cleared.

3:30 p.m. update: The rolled-over vehicle has been towed and all lanes are reopened, Washington State Patrol Trooper John Dattilo told The News Tribune.

Dattilo said the vehicle struck a barrier during the crash. There were no other vehicles involved.

The driver immediately ran off, and it is unknown if they were injured, Dattilo said.
