Sam Reed to analyze primary election results Thursday public talk in Lacey

Former three-term secretary of state Sam Reed is giving his analysis of this week’s primary election results in a talk to Panorama Republicans on Thursday afternoon in Lacey. Reed, an Olympia Republican, plans to talk about the GOP’s surprisingly good performance in state House and Senate races which bode well for continued Republican control of the state Senate.

The talk begins at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 in n the Quinault Auditorium, located in the lower level of the Quinault apartment building, at the Panorama retirement community off Sleater-Kinney Road SE. The meeting is open to the public regardless of political affiliation.

Reed’s long public service included more than 20 years as Thurston County auditor, and he also helped found the Mainstream Republicans organization.
