Municipal court judge announces bid for place on Pierce County Superior Court bench

Tacoma Municipal Court Judge David Ladenburg said Wednesday that he will run to replace outgoing Pierce County Superior Court Judge Ronald Culpepper.

Ladenburg has been on the Tacoma Municipal Court for 13 years. He served as a deputy prosecutor for the City of Tacoma for four years, and spent nine years in private practice.

In his position on the Tacoma Municipal Court bench, Ladenburg said he handled most of the city’s domestic violence cases.
