Direct outrage at officials, not at Crystal's family

I find it odd how the mood in letters about the Brame case has changed. Many initially felt so bad about what happened; now they are pointing fingers at the family. Some question why the family didn't speak out.

How do these people know whether the family knew what was going on? People who control others have a way of manipulating things to look the way they want things to look. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors.

The amount of the damage claim against the City of Tacoma is shocking to many. I don't think money is the reason Crystal Brame's family is doing this; they want to know everything, and sometimes it takes a shocking thing like a big award to get people's attention.

Outrage should be directed at the officials, not at a family that just wants to know why the one they loved is no longer here.
