Here’s where you can place bets in Washington state for March Madness

Sports betting became legal at 16 Tribal casinos in September 2021. State gaming rules prohibit bets on games offered or sponsored by a Washington state college, but the casinos may take bets on other college games.

Though not all sportsbooks are open yet, here’s where you can place your bets for March Madness:

Snoqualmie Casino

Snoqualmie Casino was the first to open and take bets in the state. The casino also boasts the first sportsbook app. Wagers can be placed at the sportsbook window during operating hours and at 12 sportsbook kiosks located on the main casino floor 24-hours a day. Located in Snoqualmie, Wash., it is known as the closest casino to Seattle.

“We’ve been thrilled with the positive feedback our sportsbook, The Book, has received from both long-time patrons and new guests alike,” said Director Of Marketing Mary Jewett in a January statement to McClatchy.
