The Five Spot: 5 ways Seahawk trip to Britain could be bloody good, mate

Britain's Queen Elizabeth II gives an elegant white-gloved Five Spot salute on the occasion of her 90th birthday in 2016. Somehow we doubt she’ll be attending the Seahawks game in London next fall.

Five things we hope happen when Seattle Seahawks play in London next season.

1 Quarterback Russell Wilson spices up his usual press conference inanities (“the separation’s in the preparation”) with a cheeky cockney accent.

2 Strong safety Cam Chancellor takes sideline selfies with Britain’s Lord Chancellor and Chancellor of the Exchequer.

3 Traveling 12th Man fans from Tacoma mix with English football hooligans at several Tottenham pubs for a bloody good chin wag.

4 To protest unjust British taxation on colonial America, Michael Bennett and other players sit during the singing of “God Save the Queen.”

5 Instead of postgame handshakes, both teams meet at midfield for high tea and crumpets.
