Pierce County Executive: Dammeier an Excellent Choice

I am writing in support of Bruce Dammeier for Pierce County Executive. As Executive Director of a tutoring program with the Tacoma Public Schools, I worked closely with Bruce. He served as a tutor, a board member, and president of the board of directors. Bruce was passionately committed to the mission of the program and was a hands on board president, working side by side with me. Under his leadership, the program expanded to include providing tutors for over 600 struggling students per year.

I witnessed first-hand the attributes that Dammeier brings to the table, attributes that would make him truly effective at leading Pierce County. He operates with the highest of integrity. He is tireless and passionate about accomplishing the mission of an organization, caring deeply about solving issues that lead to bettering the ills of society. He is highly intelligent, thinking of creative ways to solve problems. His people skills enable him to listen carefully, thoughtfully analyze, and smooth out rough edges when conflicts occur. He is decisive, and can make tough decisions when needed.

I encourage you to vote for him. I am confident that he will be a true servant to Pierce County.
