Monuments: Dismantling them a bad precedent

Re: “Threats, protests as city removes its Confederate monuments,” (TNT, 5/8).

Taking down history is like Nazi Germany again. If you take down the Confederate history in cities like New Orleans, that’s just the way it starts.

History is not a bad thing; You learn from it, not hide from it. But some activists like to keep things stirred up.
