Trump: If no impeachment, then censure
In the history of the United States, only one president (Andrew Jackson, in 1834) has ever been successfully censured by the U.S. Senate. It's time to do it again.
A sitting president has divulged classified information to the representative of a foreign power, one that has engaged in hostile espionage activities against not only our country but others.
It is time for the Senate to stand up and censure President Trump for his actions in undermining the safety and security of our country. At the very least his behavior shows incompetence; at worst, it is active treason. Doing nothing to stop him from further destabilizing national security is choosing to be complicit in his designs.
If impeachment is not currently on the table for discussion, then officially censuring the president is truly the least that can be done (aside from nothing).
