Political signs: Candidate who quit should take them down

In a recent article, candidate Jim Jensen declared he had withdrawn from the Port of Tacoma commissioner race due to the discovery of offensive tweets. Shortly afterward, he formally withdrew his candidacy with the Public Disclosure Commission.

However, his yard signs still remain on our public right of ways. Since he is no longer a candidate and has left the race, he should remove his signs as well.

There is enough litter on our streets already; please remove your signs now, Mr. Jensen.
