Kate Steinle: Treated as if her life didn't matter

Re: “Displays of white racism can no longer be ignored in Tacoma,” (Matt Driscoll column, 11/12).

I guess the question about whether or not “white lives matter” has been answered by last week’s verdict in the Kate Steinle murder trial in San Francisco.

The answer is, “no, they don’t.”
